As one of the nation's largest line haul barge companies, Marquette Transportation operates one of the industry's newest, safest fleets of 38 line-haul towboats and leases its 600 dry cargo barges to its towing customers. Marquette's fleet operates around the clock, transporting agricultural goods like corn and soybeans, aggregates, coal, liquids and construction products to points along the Upper and Lower Mississippi, and the Illinois and Ohio rivers.

Marquette offers three categories of vessels designed for The Lower Mississippi, Swing and Locking Rivers. Each boat is powered with state-of-the-art communications, GPS, and safety systems, and piloted by teams of skilled marine transportation professionals.
