Marquette Transportation Company and its River, Gulf-Inland and Offshore units provide one of the nation’s newest, safest fleets of towboats and tugboats to ensure our customers’ cargos are delivered safely, reliably and cost-efficiently. Together, our growing fleet offers more than 115 marine vessels, ranging from 1250 to 9000 class horsepower, and more than 800+ dry cargo barges for lease to our customers.
The Marquette fleet is equipped with the latest communications and safety technology and piloted by certified, experienced marine transportation professionals. All of our vessels are fully compliant with United States Coast Guard requirements.
Marquette Transportation’s vessels transport dry and liquid cargos, such as corn, wheat, rock and liquids; and oversized equipment, such as oil derricks, casino boats, power plant equipment, and all kinds of machinery and equipment. Twenty of our vessels are powered for oilfield service and construction work, dredging support and anchor-handling.
